Manufacturing World Nagoya — entering the Japanese market in earnest
Automotive paint and sealer inspection led the stand, and a partnership was agreed with a distributor established in the Japanese market.
Manufacturing World 2024 ran from 10 to 12 April in Nagoya — the region with the highest concentration of factories in Japan, and a centre for automotive, aerospace and machine tools.
Automotive paint and sealer inspection
The stand showed inspection of sealer bead width, height and edge distance on both straight and cornered sections, detecting breaks, overflow, insufficiency and bubbles. Body paint inspection applies optics designed for bright, highly reflective surfaces to find dust specks, fibres, dents, pinholes and scratches.
By this point DSTEK had supplied plants in the United States, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and Mexico, with a cumulative 10,000+ production lines served.
